Taryn Hilch

Taryn was born and raised in St. Louis and currently lives in St. Charles with her fiancé. Aside from Pure Hot Yoga, she enjoys working out, traveling, spending time with friends and family and spoiling her two nephews. She attended University of Missouri-St. Louis and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2010 and is now back in school working on her Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing. When not teaching yoga, Taryn takes care of her nephews, works as a bartender, and goes to school…so needless to say she is a busy yogini!

Taryn started her Bikram yoga practice in November 2010, one day after her first day of working at the desk. Immediately she fell in love with the practice and could not wait to take her second class.

Having a gymnastics/dance/competitive cheerleading background, this was right up her alley. Taryn was looking for a new job due to her recent back surgery and working the desk at Pure Hot Yoga St. Louis was perfect! Due to numerous injuries to her back, Taryn knew that this yoga was going to help tremendously. The Pure Hot Yoga staff quickly became family and still remains so. She feels grateful to have a gained such an amazing practice in her life as well as an abundance of new close friends!

In September 2011, Taryn went to Bikram’s teacher training in Los Angeles, California for his rigorous 9 week training program. Taryn truly enjoys watching this practice change people’s lives and minds. The benefits are countless and it is so rewarding to teach this practice everyday.

Taryn truly believes what Bikram tells us, “A healthy spine equals a healthy life” and this practice can give you just that.
