Mary began practicing Bikram yoga at the suggestion of a friend. She had been looking to try a yoga class and the hot room intrigued her. She loved that you could practice as a beginner in the same class as veteran students, It helped her learn to control her breathing and now she can run more than she walks when she does 5K’s, 10K’s and half-marathons. Prior to yoga she always ran out of breath. She recently retired after 35 years in health care as a respiratory therapist. Now when she is not at Pure Hot Yoga working the front desk or practicing, you can probably find her out on a local golf course.
